This program will enhance the pharmacists' understanding of breakthrough cancer pain, provide pharmacists with an overview of the pain medications available for opioid tolerant cancer patients with breakthrough cancer pain, describe the REMS processes, delineate strategies, and mitigate the risk of abuse and misuse of these pain medications.
