Magaly Rodriguez de Bittner, PharmD, BCPS, CDE, FAPhA
University of Maryland, School of Pharmacy

Dr. Rodriguez de Bittner is an Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and an Associate professor at the University of Maryland School of pharmacy.  She received her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy at the University of Puerto Rico, and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Maryland.  Her practice areas are in the ambulatory care and community pharmacy practice sites, which includes the development, implementation and evaluation of innovative practice models in those settings.  She is particularly interested in the development and evaluation of disease state management based in the community pharmacy.  Dr. Rodriguez's research focus is on the evaluation of the impact of these types of programs in the clinical, economic and humanistic outcomes of patients, expansion of community pharmacists' clinical roles and overall improvement in health care delivery.
