Program Overview
This program will provide participants with an understanding of obesity management and treatment. After completing this program, participants will be able to describe pathophysiology, epidemiology, and public health impacts of obesity. Participants will be able to recognize the causes and complications of obesity and identify nonpharmacological and pharmacological approaches to obesity management. Lastly, participants will know how to describe the mechanism of action of drugs used for obesity treatment and the adverse effects of medications used to treat obesity.
