  • Overview

The DQSA is an important piece of legislation for everyone involved in compounding to understand. It was signed into law in 2013 as a result of compounding incidents over the last several years and contains two parts: the first is the compounding quality act and the second are the track and trace requirements. The DQSA were designed to provide FDA with regulatory oversight of compounding that was called into question by previous legal cases.
