For renewals after January 1, 2015, pharmacists and pharmacy technicians licensed in the state of Texas are now required to obtain one (1) accredited hour of continuing education per renewal period related to Texas pharmacy laws or rules. This monograph explains the adopted rules from the November 28, 2014 Texas State Board of Pharmacy Board meeting and the resulting changes to the Texas Administrative Code Title 22 Examining Boards Part 15 Texas State Board of Pharmacy affecting community pharmacies (class A). At the time of initial publication, this content represents the most recently adopted and publicized edition of the Texas Register. Information contained in this monograph may change depending on future updates to the rules adopted by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
