Program Overview
Controlling cholesterol without having to take prescription medications is a concern of many consumers. This program will provide information on the many ways in which lipids can be controlled without prescription medications. Some of the discussed interventions will be lifestyle changes, functional foods (nuts, oatmeal, soy, flaxseed), and supplements (red rice yeast, garlic, niacin, policosanol, omega 3 fatty acids).
