Program Overview
Many cardiac drugs have narrow therapeutic indices and give rise to severe toxicity in overdoses, whether unintentional or deliberate, or due to drug interactions.  This presentation will review the clinical effects associated with overdoses of calcium channel blockers, beta blockers, digoxin and clonidine.  Specific antidotes and other treatment modalities will be discussed.
