Program Overview
Vaccinations are one of the few interventions that has been shown to reduce overall healthcare costs.  As more vaccines come onto the market, so does the controversy over the use and need for these new products.  As pharmacists continue to grow as primary immunizers, it is more important than ever to know why vaccinations make sense for patients in certain demographics.  Pharmacists also need to be able to address the concerns of their adult patients.  This presentation will review the pros and cons of adult vaccinations and assist the pharmacist in being an advocate of vaccinations for specific patients.
