Kristen Jaworski, RN has served as a nurse in the bleeding disorders community for 13 years. Kristen has led the research and clinic team towards success and notability. She cares for patients and families in acute care, home infusion training, and life planning. In 2009, she was presented with the Award for Outstanding Service to the Bleeding Disorders Community of Western Pa. She works to educate and inform local leaders on the importance of outreach and provision of care for patients with bleeding disorders. Kristen serves on many advisory boards and material development committees. She has coauthored many educational tools and served as the regional representative for the NHF Nurse Working Group. Research has become a mainstay of her career. Among the high noted studies she has coordinated are gene therapy trials, Generation II, III, IV , long-acting recombinant factor products, HIV impact on Hepatitis C, and Practice Patterns of Nurses in Hemophilia and von Willebrand Disease.
