Dr. Drayton A. Hammond received his MBA from The Citadel Graduate College in 2011 and his Pharm.D. from the South Carolina College of Pharmacy Medical University of South Carolina in 2012. Thereafter, he completed a PGY1 residency at Georgia Regents University in Augusta,GA and a PGY2 Critical Care residency at University of Florida Health in Jacksonville, FL. He now is a faculty member at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) College of Pharmacy and practices in the Medical Intensive Care Unit at the UAMS Medical Center. He is actively involved in pharmacy organizations throughout Arkansas and currently serves as the
President of the Arkansas ACCP chapter. He also is engaged in leadership and service activities nationally and internationally with the American College of Clinical Pharmacy, currently serving as the Chair-elect for the Critical Care Practice and Research Network, and the Society of Critical Care Medicine. In his free time, Dr. Hammond enjoys running, reading, traveling, and cheering on his favorite sports teams (Atlanta Braves, Carolina Panthers, Clemson Tigers, and Duke Blue Devils).
