Ranti Akiyode, Pharm.D., BCPS, BC-ADM, CDE is a clinical pharmacist with various pharmacy practice knowledge and experience. She is a board certified advanced diabetes manager at Howard University Hospital Diabetes Treatment Center, where she currently delivers medication therapy management to diabetes patients. Dr. Akiyode is an associate professor of pharmacy at Howard University, College of Pharmacy in Washington, DC. She received her doctorate degree in clinical pharmacy from University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy. She completed a community pharmacy residency program at Leesburg Pharmacy. She currently serves as Director of Professionalism and Professional Development at Howard University, College of Pharmacy. She has extensive knowledge and training in pharmacotherapy topics and provides education trainings to health care professionals from diverse practice settings. She has delivered various presentations at local and national meetings.
