Dr. Eichstadt graduated from the University of Findlay, College of Pharmacy with her PharmD degree in May 2015. In June 2015, she started at Purdue University Veterinary Teaching Hospital as their first veterinary pharmacy resident making her one of four residents in the country with this title. Throughout her residency, Dr. Eichstadt completed multiple research projects including one on compounded transdermal fluoxetine for feline patients. Dr. Eichstadt also was actively involved in compounding medication for hospital patients and teaching pharmacy and veterinary students. Dr. Eichstadt completes her residency on June 30, 2016, and will be starting as a staff pharmacist at UC Davis, Veterinary Teaching Hospital Pharmacy on August 1, 2016. In her spare time, Dr. Eichstadt competes with her Quarter Horses Lucky and Banjo in hunter and equitation events at the national level.
