Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, University of Maryland School of Pharmacy
Dr. Allison Lardieri is an assistant professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Science at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy. In addition to her role as an assistant professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Science (PPS) at the School, Dr. Lardieri serves as a clinical pharmacy specialist at the University of Maryland Children’s Hospital in Baltimore, MD. She practices in the pediatric intensive care unit as well as the pediatric progressive care unit, where she provides pharmaceutical care to infants and children with acute and chronic diseases. Dr. Lardieri also serves as a preceptor for the University of Maryland Pediatric Pharmacy Practice Residency Program.
Dr. Lardieri received her Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park and her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy. She has completed both a pharmacy practice residency and pediatric specialty residency with the University of Maryland Residency and Fellowship Program.
Dr. Lardieri's practice and research interests include clinical outcomes in pediatric patients, delirium assessment and management in the pediatric intensive care unit, and interprofessional education. She is an active member of Pediatric Pharmacy Advocacy Group and the Maryland Society of Health System Pharmacy
