Ayesha has over10 years of experience as a clinical pharmacist. She graduated with a BS in microbiology from the University of Texas at El Paso, then obtained her PharmD from the University of Texas. She then went on to complete a community/Ambulatory Care residency with St Louis College of Pharmacy in St. Louis Mo.
Upon completion of her residency, she worked at an anticoagulation clinic with Scott and White in Temple, TX. She then went on to work as an inpatient clinical pharmacist with Baylor Institute of Rehabilitation. She rounded with stroke, traumatic brain injury and transplant teams. Providing pharmacokinetic dosing, renal dosing, drug therapy recommendations and discharge counseling to patients. During her time at Baylor, she also lectured to the medical residents and taught pharmacology courses at a community college. While at Baylor, she obtained her Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy. After 4 plus years, she relocated to College Station, TX and became an Assistant Professor in Pharmacy Practice with Texas A&M College of Pharmacy. She also developed an ambulatory care practice site and general/medicine site for pharmacy students to rotate through their clinical year.
