    • Overview

Prudent pharmacy managers realize that the physical environment of the pharmacy no longer exists as its own identity.  Instead, the physical environment is one that has become rather intertwined with the perceptions created by today’s virtual environment.  Social media platforms and electronic forms of communication greatly enhance the pharmacy’s footprint in the community, but also opens entirely new levels of vulnerability.  This session seeks to identify methods of maximizing the benefits of electronic communication media within the pharmacy setting while identifying and minimizing the inherent risks.
