    • Overview

Pharmacy technicians are regularly educated on prescriptions and over-the-counter medications that are sold in a pharmacy. However, technicians are not often educated on the variety of medical supplies and equipment that community pharmacies may rent for home use. This monograph will educate pharmacy technicians on medical devices and equipment that are available and commonly sold in pharmacies. This presentation will describe how devices are used and how to assemble them. This course will also provide information on which devices might be covered by patients' health insurance.
