    • Overview

Over 100 million Americans suffer with chronic pain every day, which often necessitates the use of controlled substances for pain relief. Additionally, up to 20% of Americans will attempt to procure controlled substances for misuse or diversion purposes. Unfortunately, practitioners struggle with differentiating legitimate pain patients from those with a different agenda. Participants in this program will learn about strategies to limit risks associated with opioid therapy.
