      This monograph explains the law of negligence as it applies to pharmacy practice liability cases.  The monograph discusses the pharmacist’s basic duty to patients, as well as the potential breaches of professional duty that can lead to negligence.  The legal issues of causation and damages are addressed.  Defenses to a claim of pharmacist negligence are also discussed.
