    • Overview

      Influenza is a common infection which can be prevented with the annual receipt of the influenza vaccine. Influenza vaccine is recommended for just about every population and age group. Numerous updates have been published in the past year on the safety and efficacy of influenza vaccine. During this one hour presentation we will explore the new approval of Fluad, the first influenza vaccine to contain an adjuvant, investigate key studies looking at the safety and efficacy of live attenuated influenza vaccine and finally review data showcasing the importance of immunizing pregnant women against influenza.
