    • Overview

Ever wonder where that little white pill was actually made? In this presentation, we will cover what the FDA is doing to make the answer to that question easily accessible by explaining how the FDA oversees and regulates domestic and foreign drug manufacturing with special regard to the Generic Drug User Fee Amendments of 2012.  Furthermore, we will dive into the key changes within the Drug Supply Chain Security Act of 2013, in order to be able to identify just how we will be able to track every single pill just as one would track a regular shipment through the mail.  Finally, we will review highlights of just where drugs go outside of the typical supply flow when being diverted by describing typical methods of drug diversion, habits of drug diversionists, and prevention strategies.  Overall, we will be reviewing where pills are coming from before reaching a pharmacy, and once leaving a pharmacy, if ever even reaching there in the first place, thus the overall idea of "No Pill Left Behind".
