    • Overview

This monograph addresses the issues that may arise at the end of life when a medication is used in the care of a patient, and there may be allegations that the medication killed the patient. Under these circumstances, it is necessary to determine the intent of the person(s) who provided the medication to the patient. Case studies provided in this monograph review situations in which health care professionals have been accused of killing patients at the end of life.

This monograph is provided for educational purposes only. It is not intended as legal advice and should not be used as legal advice. For legal advice, a licensed attorney should be consulted.
