    • Overview

      There has been increased scrutiny by the CDC, the AMA, and other professional organizations regarding the over-use and possibly unnecessary prescribing of oral antibiotics and the risk of increasing or emerging antibiotic resistance.  This presentation will discuss this issue, provide a working background to understanding resistance, and offer an approach that the prescriber could use to avoid the systemic use of antibiotics.
