    • Overview

Restless legs syndrome (RLS) is considered both a neurological movement disorder and a sleep disorder. Despite the evident effects on patients' quality of life, RLS remains underdiagnosed and is still not fully understood. Based on the existing knowledge of RLS, treatment is not curative but aimed at relieving the symptoms. This program reviews the causes and presentation of RLS and reviews medications and nondrug options for management of this condition.
