    • Overview

Parents want to help their children feel better when they are sick. They end up standing in front of shelves and shelves of over-the-counter medications and staring at the many different options. It is difficult to determine which medication, if any, will be helpful. They often seek out advice from the pharmacy counter. Pharmacy staff need to be knowledgeable with the dosages and use of over the counter medication in order to best help these parents.
