    • Overview

Adverse events from vaping have garnered national attention, prompting some municipalities to declare public health emergencies.  At the same time, some outlets are touting vaping as a viable avenue for tobacco cessation initiatives.  Pharmacists are often at the front line of smoking cessation efforts, as patients seek options.  It is important, then, for pharmacists to understand vaping devices in order to appropriately advise patients.  This session seeks to examine the various vaping devices, while recognizing the hazards associated with vaping.
