This program provides a summary of steps taken in each state to provide legal authority for pharmacists to effectively serve the public in their efforts to meet the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic. Significant modifications in pharmacy law from each state are listed. References are provided for further exploration of emergency legal provisions affecting pharmacy practice. This program provides examples of ways in which state governments can move quickly to respond to a health care crisis and remove restrictions to permit practices by pharmacists that are necessary to protect the public health.

PharmCon is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.
PharmCon is an approved course provider for continuing education for nurses by the Florida Board of Nursing. PharmCon is also recognized by the California Board of Nursing as a provider of nursing programs.
In order to obtain a Statement of Credit, participants must score no less than a 70% on the activity's test and complete a program evaluation.
