  • Overview

This program is accredited as a patient safety program and has been approved by the Florida Board of Pharmacy to meet Florida's state specific medication error requirements. This program also meets the general medication error requirements of other states which do not have state specific requirements. The goal of this program is to show how commitment to continuous quality improvement in the pharmacy will reduce the risk of medication errors. By examining case studies of actual medication errors and the efforts made to mitigate future errors pharmacists and pharmacy technicians will be able to see areas in their own practice that may need improvement and specific ways that these improvements can be made.

This program is APPROVED for FL Pharmacists and Technicians as Medication Errors Credit and will satisfy their requirement.

This program does not satisfy the medical error requirement for FL nurses. Please visit our Home Study Monograph Catalog for our FL approved nursing CE.
