    Assistant Professor, Roseman University & NICU/Pediatric Clinical Pharmacist, St. Rose Hospital

    Dr. Andria Peterson received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Roseman University of Health Sciences in Henderson, Nevada in 2008.  She was awarded the Dean’s Award for an Outstanding Student at graduation.  She completed a PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency at the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada and joined St. Rose Dominican hospitals in 2009 as their pediatric/neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) clinical pharmacist. 


    She maintains a full faculty appointment at Roseman University in the College of Pharmacy as an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice.  She currently teaches in the endocrine and pharmacokinetic blocks for first year students; and in the endocrine, infectious disease and pulmonology blocks for second year students.  She also offers an advanced experiential (APPE) rotation in the NICU for third year students. 


    Dr. Peterson also serves as an NABP item-writer and volunteers her time with the Horn of Africa Neonatal Development Services (HANDS) organization.  She is a full member of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) and the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP).
