This webinar reviews the structure and function of regulatory agencies that ensure legal compliance by pharmacists and other health professionals. Using a case study method, the webinar examines how agencies such as the FDA, the DEA, and state regulatory boards enforce professional standards of practice in the interest of public safety. The webinar considers how pharmacists and other health professionals can best meet the needs of patients, while also complying with regulations that at times present challenges to effective patient care.
