    • Overview

From Print to Practice: Intraoperative Pharmacotherapy for Health-System Pharmacists is a one hour CE designed to familiarize practitioners with current pharmacologic options commonly used during the intraoperative phase. During the presentation, we will focus on various issues that practitioners face including sedation, pain control, blood loss, blood pressure control, neuromuscular blockade and reversal. While newer medications have been developed to address these areas, usage of older medications have also started to re-emerge so we will discuss proper place in therapy when selecting pharmacologic agents.
