Dr. Brooke Fidler joined the faculty in 2000 as Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice and in 2018 she was promoted to Associate Professor. Dr. Fidler completed her PharmD at the University of Rhode Island in 1999, and continued there as a PGY-1 pharmacy resident with a focus in community based drug information and outpatient care. Currently Dr. Fidler’s practice site is Kings Specialty Pharmacy where she precepts APPE students and she is also the residency program director for the Kings Pharmacy PGY-1 Community Residency. Dr. Fidler’s primary didactic responsibilities include teaching in the physical assessment course and pharmaceutical care lab at the college. Dr. Fidler has published in Pharmacy and Therapeutics Journal and Journal of Nurse Practitioners. She has also presented numerous webinars and live courses for continuing education programs related to medication therapy management, women’s health issues and nonprescription medications. Dr. Fidler is the recipient of the 2018 David Newton Awards for Excellence in Teaching and the 2017 Faculty Preceptor of the Year Award.
