Best in Class: Antipsychotic Updates

This session seeks to encourage participants to engage in an even deeper and more comprehensive discussion about principles asked during classroom Q & A for the annual psychiatric update. In order to stay current with the increasing variety of agents available, as well as the continually evolving guidelines informing prescribing practices, it is recommended that the pharmacist and technician explore opportunities such as this to navigate pharmacologic challenges as a planned part of their continuous professional development (CPD). Despite the extent of resources available informing pharmacists and pharmacy technicians about psychiatric medication and guideline changes, with limited time and busy schedules, staying informed of these changes remains challenging.

This program is intended to fill this gap by answering questions and elaborating on topics proposed by YOU, our valued freeCE members, allowing a deeper dive of pharmacologic principles you find interesting for your practice.
