Compounding Designated Person: A Key Role for Pharmacy Technicians

Each pharmacy where compounding occurs needs to have a Designated Person who oversees all aspects of compounding, including personnel training and evaluation, facility design and evaluation, policies and procedures, and a quality plan. A skilled pharmacy technician can fulfill this role. This program will provide an overview of the required skills needed to be a successful Designated Person.
