Immunizations: The Who, What, and Why of Immunization

As vaccine recommendations evolve, it’s important for healthcare practitioners to be aware of the many facets of vaccine-related patient care. This program aims to review the history of vaccines and shed light on current vaccine recommendations for more commonly seen vaccines, paying special attention to how vaccines reduce current disease burden (including measles) and information on newer vaccinations (including newest pneumococcal). Special care is taken to highlight the pneumococcal and measles vaccine.
