Event Details

This presentation explores key strategies for enhancing patient safety in pharmacy practice. It reviews both the principles and applications of root cause analysis (RCA) and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), as well as common vaccine-related medication errors and their prevention. Class participants will also gain practical tips and techniques to reduce medication errors in daily pharmacy operations.

This course has been approved to meet the 2.0 hour requirement for medication error prevention training for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians by the Florida Board of Pharmacy.
