This program introduces pharmacists to the fundamentals of continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) and its role in diabetes management. Attendees will review available CGM devices, key metrics such as time in range, and how to interpret Ambulatory Glucose Profile (AGP) reports. Practical considerations, including patient selection, education, and overcoming barriers to CGM access, will also be discussed. By the end of the course, learners will be better equipped to support patients and providers in integrating CGM technology into care.

Event Details
This session goes beyond the medications and examines a very powerful tool in the battle against type 2 diabetes: food. With the food choices we make on an everyday basis, we can either contribute to chronic disease or work to fight against it. This session will focus on the importance of building healthy eating habits and making other lifestyle changes while also discussing OTC supplementations commonly used for type 2 diabetes. It will further evaluate effective communication strategies to empower patients in management of their own care.
