This continuing education activity explores the intersection of pharmacy ethics and pharmacy law. Ethical decision-making is an integral part of pharmacy practice, requiring pharmacists to act in the best interests of their patients while upholding professional standards. At times, however, a pharmacist’s personal ethical beliefs may come into conflict with a prescription or other professional responsibility. This activity examines both the ethical principles that guide these situations and the legal responsibilities pharmacists must navigate when such conflicts arise.
